Why "register" with Klein Photography?

You may visit all galleries without needing to register and you may purchase digital files without the need to provide Klein Photography with any personal details. However, there are advantages to registering. If you choose, you will receive a digital flyer each quarter to let you know about special offers, special photograph series and site news.

Security and Data Protection

To purchase images and select the licence you require items are added to your electronic basket. At the point that you choose to "checkout" you are taken from the Klein Photography secure site to payments site where your payment details are processed prior to being returned to the Klein Photography site. This means that Klein Photography have no access to client information, including your name and address. The only way in which we are able to know who is purchasing from the site is if a customer registers with us.  This means that we have limited information, and no financial details, to look after. As a fully GDPR compliant site, at any time you may request the information that we do hold about you is sent out to you. There will be a small charge for this to cover processing expenses.

 

Image Files

When a customer orders an image from the website, once payment has been made, an automatic download is made available according to the option selected, either a 72dpi or a 300dpi JPG file. This JPG is supplied in good faith, having had minimal processing from the original DNG captured "in-camera". When the Leica CL or the Leica Q2 produces a JPG, there is always some in-camera processing performed. The version of the JPG published on the site will either be the in-camera version, perhaps with some further enhancements made to the captured image, or may be from the DNG itself with some processing performed to make an acceptable image for display and sale on the website. Should a customer wish to purchase the original DNG of an image for an extra fee, this is always available under the same licence terms as the original JPGs purchased. In such circumstances, the contact form should be used to make enquiries.

Framing Service

Klein Photography offers both full service framing and a self-service framing. If a customer wishes to use the framing illustrated on the site, a link will be provided upon request so that a choice of wooden, metal or canvas frames can be selected for an image. Alternatively, bespoke framing is available with a wide range of frames options.
