Art Frame Styles
Framed Print

A framed print is an excellent way to add a personal touch to your home or office decor. These frames are available supplied in either white or black painted wood. The image you choose will be produced on a quality satin paper that gives off a sheen and will be mounted behind plexiglass to form a protective surface. The most striking feature of the framed print is the white border. The 5-7.5cm border enhances the image inside, whilst the outer 3cm solid frame encases the whole item.

The clarity of the image combined with the attractive frame makes this an attractive purchase for yourself, but equally you may wish to order this item for friends, colleagues or your loved ones.
A framed print, perhaps containing an image significant to the owner, immediately enhances the room, giving interest and character to an environment. The white border looks futuristic whilst the black border gives a classic look. Both borders signify a space that immediately enhances the image, making it a focal point for a room. Size is important; perhaps one large print to add drama to a space, or alternatively several smaller framed prints arranged closely together can tell a story to set a scene.

Canvas Wrap

Canvas printing can be a very good way of displaying a photographic creation on paper. The canvas provides a professional appearance which, without gloss, allows viewers to solely focus on the image's details without being distracted. Moments in time can be preserved on a long-lasting medium that is resistant to deterioration. Unlike a photo placed inside a picture frame, a canvas is stretched around four bars of the wooden frame thus giving a taut whilst tactile nature to the print.

You may choose to have the image printed to the edges of the frame, or a 'wrapped' effect where the picture continues over the sides of the canvas. A mirror wrap option means that the image stops at the canvas edge and its wrapped sides are a reflection of the main image. This helps you to get the finish of a gallery wrap without touching the photographic content. Mirror wrap works exceptionally well for landscape photography. However, when considering a mirror wrap, it is important to think about any details near the edges. In a black or white wrap, the images are printed solely on the face of the canvas with the edges all being either a white or black border.

Metal Prints

Metal Prints are one of the most recent innovations in displaying photographs. They are, of themselves, art forms. Prints are infused directly into an aluminium board, and invariably portray an incredible beauty in their finish. Metal prints are still quite unusual; often being thought of as unique by people seeing them for the first time. Metal prints are completely waterproof which means you can display your image in the bathroom, kitchen or anywhere where water resistance is important. Physical print quality is, of course, the most important feature of a good metal print, but once produced, this is a product which should provide very long-term pleasure.
